No one robs Postal Plus and gets away with it.

At least that's how Brandon Jank hopes things end up.

The small business owner discovered his store in the Silver Lake Square strip mall in Dalton Gardens was robbed at 6:54 p.m. on Saturday night, as captured by the security cameras in his shop.

Finding that the cameras caught the interloper's face, Jank is going viral, spreading the video everywhere he can to find the young man Jank believes is around 18.

"I've released the video to my whole family, I've put it on Facebook, I've sent it to friends who go to schools around here," Jank said. "I've got this kid's face up all over town, and we'll find him."

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Department has possession of the video, but has yet to make any arrests.

The burglar, wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt, broke the handle on the store's door, Jank said, and stole $500 from the cash register.

"I think this isn't the first one (robbery) he's done. He was pretty skilled, removing his fingerprints," Jank said, adding that the young man didn't touch anything without using his sweatshirt sleeve.

Jank said he isn't in a financial position to offer a reward. Besides this weekend's robbery, his other Dalton Gardens business, NexGen Consulting, was robbed a few months ago, he said, with $125,000 worth of computer equipment taken.

The camera footage is posted on the Postal Plus Facebook page, he said.

Jank asks that anyone with information contact Postal Plus at 762-2540, or e-mail admin@postalplus.net.

The store's landlord is paying for repairs to the door.
