LIBERALS: Stop with the hatred
As a conservative, I was glad to read Mr. Pappas express the liberal views toward the Tea Party people.
These people are dissilusioned Democrats and independent voters who voted for Obama, and the far liberal left is pushing them toward the GOP. The hateful rhetoric and demeaning statements are the clear indicator that their message isn’t welcome with those in power.
Their message is clear in respect to spending great sums of our taxpayer money we don’t have in foolish and devious manner. Giving money to SIEU, other unions, AARP and other organizations that haven’t created jobs is clearly a gift to fundraisers for the Democratic Party.
Although liberals still want to point the finger at Republicans for every failure, Pelosi and Reid have had the power by majority since 2006. Dodd and Franks were in charge of banking and commerc several years before the bank failures, and refused to let others pass legislation or oversight regulations. They, and a dozen of their friends, used Fannie and Freddy as their own little piggybank for special subprime loans.
Liberals seem to have a short memory span when it comes time to admit to their failures. It’s always the other guy at fault.
Republicans offered 169 amendments that were dismissed without getting to the floor, but accused of not having any ideas. Pelosi drafted the health care bill behind closed doors, refusing anyinput from the GOP, and shoving down the public’s throat without any trace of transparency. Some are stillconvicnced that there will be free health care for everyone, and no new taxes to pay for it.
Tea Party people aren’t spreading hate or malicious lies, but are bringing out the obvious. There isn’t any free health care, we can’t borrow our way to prosperity, we can’t afford pork, nor can we continue to spend recklessly. And most importantly, we have to keep the liberals out of our wallets, as their promise of no new taxes or tax increases for the middle class will shortly be shown to be a big lie.
