Spring Garden Sale is May 8

Hayden Meadows Elementary School's Green Thumb Productions will host its annual Spring Garden Sale May 8 at the school, 900 E. Hayden Ave.

Starting at 9 a.m., staff and students will be selling a variety of hanging baskets, large geraniums, bedding petunias, trailing petunias and vegetables.

Some new begonia varieties, like the dragon wing begonia, will be featured this year.

There are also some extra large patio tomatoes ready to be placed on a patio.

Proceeds will support the school's ongoing greenhouse project.
