Nine-week series offered at Family History Center

COEUR d'ALENE - The Family History Center is offering a nine-week series of free courses beginning Tuesday in response to the new NBC show, "Who Do You Think You Are?"

"Are You Really Who You Think You Are?" courses will be held at 7 p.m. at the center, beginning with the First Steps on building a family history.

Subsequent courses will be:

• May 11 - Find It Fast - Choosing your organization method

• May 18 - Brain Bank: Using a Computer Database - Getting Started and Choosing the Right One for You

• May 25 - Can this be right? The Research Process and How to Use the FHC

• Jun 1 - Brain Savers: Computer Database Higher Functions

• Jun 8 - First Things First: Previous Research

• Jun 15 - Home Base: Exploring FamilySearch

• Jun 22 - Cyber-Space Rangers: Internet Research

• Jun 29 - Your Family Legacy: Presenting Your Findings (books, slide shows, internet publishing)
