Durant's 45 can't push Thunder past Spurs

George Hill scored a career-high 27 points, and the San Antonio Spurs overcame Kevin Durant's 45 to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 99-96 and forge a tie between the teams for sixth place in the Western Conference standings.

Heat 99, Nets 89: At East Rutherford, N.J., Dwyane Wade had 27 points and 12 assists, and Miami continued its good play in March with a win over free-falling New Jersey.

Hornets 115, Mavericks 99: Chris Paul played for the first time in 25 games, and Marcus Thornton scored 28 points to help host New Orleans beat Dallas.

Magic 109, 76ers 93: Rashard Lewis scored 24 points, Dwight Howard added 23 points and 15 rebounds, and visiting Orlando notched its third straight 50-win season in beating Philadelphia.

Bulls 98, Rockets 88: Derrick Rose had 27 points and seven rebounds to lead host Chicago over Houston.

Bucks 98, Hawks 95: John Salmons scored 32 points, including the tiebreaking free throws with 21.8 seconds remaining, to lead host Milwaukee to a come-from-behind victory over Atlanta.

Raptors 106, Timberwolves 100: At Minneapolis, Chris Bosh had 21 points and 10 rebounds to help sluggish Toronto hand Minnesota its 13th straight loss.

Jazz 110, Celtics 97: At Salt Lake City, Mehmet Okur scored all of his 14 points in the second half and pulled down 15 rebounds and the Utah ended Boston's four-game winning streak.

Grizzlies 102, Kings 85: Zach Randolph had 25 points and 12 rebounds, and visiting Memphis used the streak shooting of O.J. Mayo in the fourth quarter to beat Sacramento.

Suns 133, Warriors 131: At Oakland, Calif., Amare Stoudemire scored 37 points and Phoenix held off Golden State.

• Warriors announce they're for sale: The Golden State Warriors are for sale and Oracle Corp. CEO Larry Ellison has already made it well known he wants to buy the team.

The Warriors said they have hired Galatioto Sports Partners, or GSP, to handle current owner Chris Cohan's sale of the franchise.
