DOOMSDAY: That's what's approaching

We have only a few days to save the United States of America as we know it.

President Obama is calling for a vote on health care by March 17 - and if it passes, through questionable backroom shady deals, unethical promises and unconstitutional maneuvering, we may never be able to restore our country to its founding principles of freedom and liberty. The power taken in this health care bill from individuals, families, communities, and states, and granted instead to the federal government to regulate every aspect of our lives is frightening.

This bill does NOTHING to fix the problems in health care; at this point, the specific solutions that would lower costs and increase access are well vetted. Those solutions that would work are NOT in this bill. This bill is not about individual patients and their health care - it is about amassing power at the federal level. This legislation is the open door to socialism. If that sounds too extreme, consider Andy Stern, president of the SEIU, most frequent visitor to the White House and close advisor to President Obama. In recent speeches he applauds the new administration as fundamentally changing the way the economy of the United States operates; that it is government and not the private sector controlling the economy.

Andy Stern says the President wants to judge the new economy on whether we have shared prosperity and that the government has a major opportunity to distribute wealth through tax policies, minimum wages, welfare, social benefits and health insurance. Andy Stern also calls for a shift towards “global government” but that’s a topic for another day.

Our urgent task is to stop congressional representatives from voting for this current health care bill. This bill is like the Ring of Power in J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic trilogy “The Lord of The Rings;” it gives too much power to our federal bureaucracy and will add trillions to our national debt. Just like the “One Ring,” Obama will do anything to get it! And don’t believe ANY promises to safeguard against federal funding of abortion. The fact that the Barack Obama is willing to utilize this nuclear option to pass the most sweeping piece of legislation in our nation’s history - against the will of the American people and against Constitutional principles, means there is nothing they won’t do if they can get away with it. Speak up Americans! Voice your opposition to this assault on freedom and liberty before it is too late!
