Brown is sought by authorities

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking information leading to the apprehension of Justin Robert Brown.

Brown, 25, is being sought based on a Kootenai County warrant charging him with probation violations. Brown is on probation for drug possession. This is a $50,000 U.S. extradition warrant.

Brown is a white male, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 185 pounds with hazel eyes and blond hair. Brown was last known to be living in the Rathdrum area.

Hayden to hold tree workshops

HAYDEN - The city of Hayden will hold a series of tree care workshops at the Hayden Library on Saturday afternoons in March.

The workshops are open to all area residents, and will cover four topics on tree care.

• Tree Selection - Saturday March 6, 1- 2:30 p.m.

• Tree Planting - Saturday March 13, 1-2:30 p.m.

• Tree Maintenance - Saturday March 20, 1-2:30 p.m.

• Irrigation - Saturday March 27, 1-2:30 p.m.
