NEIGHBORS: What's with all the weeds?

This letter is to the neighbors of the Davis subdivision but applies to many areas of the city of Coeur d'Alene.

What's with the weeds in the street? What happened to neighborhood pride, self-pride and just good living practices? I look at my street and see numerous residences with weeds up to one foot high and flowering a long the curb and gutter. This makes our neighborhood look like garbage.

Where is your pride? Get your weed eater out there and clean things up. Use weed spray to stop the growth. Even if you only have a shovel, get her done!

Yes we could wait on the city to take care of the streets but then they would want another 1.5 percent tax increase to cover it. Please people, take some pride in the neighborhood.
