Cougar Gulch proud of quality work

Cougar Gulch Lawn Care and Landscaping, LLC offers a wide range of full service lawn maintenance and upscale landscaping services.

"We pride ourselves in quality," owner Tony Smith said. "There are a lot of landscaping companies in Coeur d'Alene, but only a handful do quality work."

Smith started landscaping when he was 15 years old, working around the Silver Mountain gondola in Kellogg. He started his own company seven years ago and has over 20 years of experience. Cougar Gulch now offers maintenance services such as weekly mowing, fertilizing, aerating, weeding, tree pruning, and shrub maintenance.

Landscaping services include: Water features, retaining walls, boulder work, decorative rock and bark work, and sprinkler systems.

"We do mostly custom landscaping and lawn maintenance for residential accounts," Smith said. "We have some small commercial accounts but we like to help create people's dream home."

Cougar Gulch now has three to four crews, consisting of six to eight employees, working on approximately 125 weekly maintenance accounts along with their custom projects.

"We have been busy, it's pretty chaotic this time of year," Smith said.

Along with summer yard care, Cougar Gulch also offers winter snow removal services including snow plowing for weekly mow customers, roof shoveling, snow blowing, and de-icing.
