Lums, Gems go late at state tournament

| July 29, 2010 9:00 PM

BOISE - Stormy weather pushed back action at the Idaho "AA" state American Legion baseball tournament Wednesday afternoon, delaying the start of the Coeur d'Alene Lumbermen and Boise Gems game nearly an hour at Timberline High.

Due to a lightning delay during the first game, featuring the Lewis-Clark Twins and Boise Capitals, games were moved back throughout the day. The Twins fell to the Capitals 3-2 in the opening game of the tournament.

Results from the Coeur d'Alene-Boise game were unavailable at press time.

Games will be broadcast throughout the duration of the tournament on www.kiovradio.com.
