Four errors cost Indians

SPOKANE - The Boise Hawks took advantage of four errors by the Spokane Indians in a 4-2 win in front of 3,732 in Northwest League baseball action at Avista Stadium on Tuesday night.

Michael Olt hit a solo home run in the first inning for Spokane, which also scored on a sacrifice fly in the second by Alejandro Selen to take a 2-0 lead.

Alvaro Ramirez hit an RBI single to score George Matheus and Kyung-Min Na, who came around to score on a throwing error by Yefry Castillo. Micah Gibbs scored the go-ahead run for Boise (10-9) on a throwing error by Jurickson Profar.

Castillo went 3-3 for the Indians (9-9).

Spokane return to action Thursday at Everett.
