Oregon St. wins at Arizona for first time in 27 years

Oregon State took the lead late in the first half and never trailed again on Saturday to stun Arizona 63-55, the Beavers' first victory in Tucson in 27 years.

The loss knocked the Wildcats (13-12, 7-6) out of a second-place tie with Arizona State in the Pac-10.

Roeland Schaftenaar led Oregon State (11-13, 5-7) with 14 points, while Calvin Haynes added 13 and Seth Tarver 11.

Arizona State 61, Oregon 51: At Tempe, Ariz., Ty Abbott scored 19 points and Rihards Kuksiks had 12 as Arizona State (18-8, 8-5) rallied to defeat Oregon (12-12, 4-8) and remain one game back of first-place Cal in the Pac-10 race.

Washington 78, Stanford 61: At Stanford, Calif., Isaiah Thomas scored 20 points, Quincy Pondexter added 18 points and nine rebounds and Washington (17-8, 7-6 Pac-10) won on the road for the first time this year, beating Stanford (11-14, 5-8).
