Late free throw sinks Vikings at Lewiston
LEWISTON - Matthew Kalbfliesch hit the front end of a 1-and-1 with 0.6 seconds remaining to give the Lewiston Bengals the 46-45 win over the Coeur d'Alene Vikings in a 5A Inland Empire League game at Booth Hall on Wednesday night.
Jake Matheson had 15 points for the Vikings (13-6, 2-3 IEL), who travel to Post Falls on Saturday.
Justin Prodrabsky had 15 points for Lewiston (9-9, 2-4), which hosts Sandpoint on Saturday.

MOSCOW - Shawn Reid had 19 points to lead the Trojans past the Bears in a nonleague game at Bear Den.
"Moscow is the most difficult place to play in the IEL in my opinion," Post Falls coach Mike McLean said. "We kind of wore them down in the second half and our bench stepped up again. (Justin) Mikkelson had a great game defensively for us again. We made enough plays down the stretch to get the win."
Mac Stannard had 14 points for Moscow (13-6), which hosts Lake City on Friday.
Connor Hill added 15 points for Post Falls (18-2), which hosts Coeur d'Alene on Saturday.
