Four charged in pharmacy break in
WALLACE - Four Silver Valley residents being held at the Shoshone County Jail may be the suspects of the Bank Street Clinic break-in on Dec. 21.
The recent advancement of the case occurred when Lt. Darell Braaten, lead investigator of the incident, received word last week that people were forging prescriptions - on the prescription pads stolen from the Wallace establishment - to pharmacies located in Coeur d'Alene.
The Shoshone County Sheriff's Office then teamed up with the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force to execute two search warrants on Monday morning, resulting in the arrests of 42-year-old Robert L. Bowles Jr. and 30-year-old Heather A. Jackson from Wallace, as well as 36-year-old Eddie L. Johnson and 34-year-old Rachel R. Johnson from Pinehurst.
Captain Jeremy Groves said eight SCSO officers searched the Wallace residence and Braaten said six task force personnel searched the Pinehurst residence.
Controlled substances, in the form of pills, were seized from both locations and sent to the Idaho State Police lab for analysis, Groves said.
"Based on the ongoing investigation, the amount is being withheld," Braaten said.
According to the SCSO, Bowles was booked for controlled substance schedule II, controlled substance conspire to deliver and controlled substance paraphernalia.
Jackson was booked for controlled substance schedule II, controlled substance conspire to deliver and controlled substance paraphernalia.
Eddie Johnson was booked for controlled substance schedule II, controlled substance conspire to deliver, controlled substance paraphernalia, theft by receiving or possession of stolen property and possession schedule V and IV controlled substance; Rachel Johnson was booked for drug paraphernalia use or possession, controlled substance schedule II, controlled substance conspire to deliver, controlled substance paraphernalia, forgery and theft by receiving or possession of stolen property.
All four had their first appearance in court on Monday, Braaten said. Bond was set to $50,000 for each individual.
