ENGAGEMENT

McCoy-Smith

Sandy and Ron McCoy, lifelong residents of Coeur d'Alene, announce their daughter Staci Lynn McCoy will wed on Feb. 14, 2010, to Sgt. Smith Terrence Wayne "Fish" retired U.S. Army Paratrooper and Chicago Firefighter.

Both will be residing 11 miles north of Sandpoint.

WEDDINGS

McCallum-Wagstaff

On Aug. 22, 2009, Trista Colaun McCallum and Jackson William Wagstaff were married in Seattle. The formal wedding was held at University Presbyterian Church, where the couple first met. A reception followed at the Broadmoor Golf Club.

The bride is the daughter of William and Sarah McCallum of Sequim, Wash. Trista's grandparents were the late Merrill Reed and the late Evelyn Arleta Reed of Brooks, Ore. Grandparents also were the late William McCallum Sr. and the late Dee McCallum of Vancouver, Wash.

The groom is the son of Peter and Anne Wagstaff of Hayden Lake. Jackson's grandparents were the late H. William Bacon and the late Patricia A. Bacon of Spokane. Grandparents also are Irmengard Wagstaff and the late Maj. Gen. Jack J. Wagstaff of McLean, Va.

Trista was graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in cellular, molecular and developmental biology. She recently completed nursing school and passed the national board's exam. Jackson was graduated from Stanford University with a degree in economics and has been a real estate development manager with Opus Northwest.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Aruba and reside in Seattle.

Dixon-Orr

Stephanie Dixon, daughter of Mike Dixon and Polli Hamlin of Hayden Lake, married Tim Orr of Cirencester, England, on Aug. 8, 2009, in Cirencester, England. The couple currently lives in England but will soon be moving onto their sailboat in the Mediterranean.

Larry Hanley

85th Birthday

The founder of Christmas for All is turning 85, and his family is inviting friends to an open house to celebrate.

Larry Hanley started the Christmas for All program in the early 1980s before the Hagadone Corp. inherited and expanded the holiday charity. He still keeps tabs on the program - and donates every year, too.

The open house celebrating Larry's 85th birthday will take place Sunday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. at VFW Post 51, 300 W. Mission in Spokane.
