TRAFFIC: Simple safety steps needed

How, oh how many more tragic, senseless deaths must occur on I-90 between stateline and Coeur d'Alene before the Idaho DOT decides to take action? Installing steel posts and safety wire between east and west bound lanes seems a simple enough solution and has proven to work extremely well controlling cars from crossing the median into oncoming traffic. Washington has installed these, so why not Idaho?
Each day I drive the corridor and pray the Idaho DOT gets with the program and starts installing these simple barriers before another tragic death occurs.
