TAX HOLIDAY: It's no break at all

Vote no on a Social Security payroll tax holiday. If we Americans are deeply worried about the future of Social Security why are we diverting the $112 billion from the Social Security trust fund in order to provide the payroll tax holiday for a year?

It will eventually destroy the Social Security trust fund because of lack of money by choking off its funds, even if they say it will be replaced. They will never give up that holiday in the future - that is plain and simple. That is what some people want: Choke off the funds and destroy Social Security for all.

This action could be the beginning of the end for Social Security, the most successful anti-poverty program in the history for the United States.
