Press compiling list of Christmas programs
If your church, school or organization is planning a special program for Christmas or the holidays - in addition to regular services or individual classroom projects - The Press would like to know about it.
The newspaper plans to publish a list of special programs that the public is invited to attend.

Free carriage rides begin Saturday
COEUR d'ALENE - Free horse-drawn carriage rides begin in downtown Coeur d'Alene today.
The free rides are a holiday tradition presented by STCU and the Coeur d'Alene Downtown Association.
They will be noon to 4 p.m. each Saturday, through Dec. 18, and noon to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24.
Rides begin at the corner of First Street and Sherman Avenue. Reservations are not necessary.
New schedule for Cd'A church
A new Sunday morning worship and Christian education schedule begins Sunday at Community United Methodist Church, 1470 W Hanley Ave.
The traditional worship service will begin at 9 a.m. This service features traditional hymns, pipe organ and piano music. The contemporary worship service will now begin at 10:30 a.m. where you will hear contemporary praise music led by the song team and light instrumentals.
New Christian education classes will be offered at 9 and 10:30.
