Coeur d'Alene Sting under-13 girls (Stevens): The Sting remained undefeated in District 6 play with a 2-0 victory over Spokane SSC Elite. Rachel Johnston and Sarah Haman scored for the Sting, and Madeline Roberts and Victoria Goetz had assists. Tabatha Wellsandt posted the shutout in goal.
Sting U15 boys gold: The Sting tied Moscow 1-1 on April 10.
Sean Palmer scored for the Sting, assisted by Christjan Wild. Dylan Shapland had 15 saves, one on a penalty kick. The Sting played the last 20 minutes with nine players after two received red cards.
Sting U14 boys (Vredenberg): The Sting won a pair of District 6 games last Saturday, beating the Spokane Sabers 3-0 and the Spokane Breakers 7-0.
Against the Sabers, Rikki McCaw scored twice, Vince Cavalin had a goal and an assist, and Luke Barrett had an assist, and Tanner Horton notched the shutout in goal.
Against the Breakers, Rikki McCaw scored a hat trick, Kenny Randall added two goals, and Tristian Lowery and Kenny Brown scored once each. Kenny Brown had two assists, Luke Barrett, Andrew Swoboda and Vince Cavalin one each. Horton again posted the shutout.
Sting U10 girls (Teets): Payton Barber scored two goals, Rylee Brown and Lily Scott one each as the Sting beat Moscow United 4-1 last Saturday. Sarah Mullen had an assist. Alecia Rollins made three saves for the Sting.
Sting U12 girls (Roop): The Sting lost 5-2 to the Idaho Valley Thunder U14. Halle Eborall scored twice in the second half with assists from Cydney Roop and Isabella Scott.
Sting U10 boys (Patton): The Sting lost to Pullman (Mell) 4-1, then beat Moscow United 9-1.
Against Pullman, Cameron Pricket scoring the lone goal for the Sting.
Against Moscow, Dillan Bengtson scored a hat trick and also had two assists, Colvin Dunteman added two goals, and McCoy Patton, Keaton Murphry, Shawn McKeeken and Cameron Pricket each scored once.
