Joshua M. Votaw

| April 6, 2010 4:41 AM

July 3, 1983 - April 3, 2010

He left his dad and mom, Kent and Tammy Votaw, and older brother Justin.

He was loved by all; his grandparents, Joann Berger and Frank and Sandy Votaw. The most important person was daughter Lilly, who he loved with all his heart, and her mother Kathy, who wanted forever. She loved him, too.

He had lots of friends and people who loved him. He was a great friend to everyone. He could make you laugh and he could make you cry. He will be missed by all.

Josh was a car salesman, and he loved it, working alongside his dad and best friend Kent at the Go Green electric car store in Post Falls.

He loved fishing with Justin and cooking with his mom. He said her cookies suck!

Most of all he had a big heart. He loved his girlfriend Kathy and their little girl. She made him smile. He also loved playing with his nephews and niece, J.J. Votaw and Preston and little Marley. They would always want to go downstairs to uncle Josh. He would call his grandma a lot in the middle of the night just to tell her he loves her. He went fishing with friends Cody, Tracey and Matt. They had fun hanging out and took care of him when he had a little too much to drink.

Also he had a lot of aunts, uncles and cousins who meant a lot to him.

He liked everyone to smile and on April Fools Day called everyone and played jokes on them, then called his mom to tell her and they would have a good laugh.

We can’t tell you all the good things about him; there is not enough time or paper. He was our heart, and God gave me you, Joshua. Mom and dad love you forever.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2010, at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d’Alene Chapel, which is entrusted with final arrangements. Please visit Joshua’s online memorial and sign his guest book at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
