Evelyne Eleanor Starr, 93

Passed away on March 17, 2010. She was born Jan. 20, 1917, in Porterville, Calif., to Thomas L and Catherine I (Bets) Cloer.

She spent most of her life in the Porterville area where she was a lifetime member of the Palm Leaf Chapter No. 114 Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Porterville First Methodist Church and the Porterville Women’s Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Henry W. Starr Jr., on Dec. 11, 2009.

She is survived by her sons, Lane of Athol and Wally of Coeur d’Alene; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the caring people at Beehive Homes and Hospice of North Idaho.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2010, at Athol Baptist Church, N. 29450 N. Hwy 95.
