Courtesy photo The Sting SC 2016 U11 Boys Yellow and Black soccer teams competed in several league games over the last week. On Tuesday, Sept. 22, the Black team tied 2-2 against Albion SC Idaho North B15/16 Academy at the Canfield Sports Complex with goals scored by Jacob Lundwall and Leo Leferink. Wednesday evening at the Spokane Polo Fields the boys lost to the Spokane Shadow 8-0 in a PAL game. Thursday the boys played an interclub match Yellow against Black with Black team winning 4-1. Goals were scores by Levi Tanaka (2), Jacob Lundwall (1), O’Neil Olind (1), and Lincoln Triebwasser (1). Saturday morning at Woodland Middle School the Yellow team lost against North Idaho Avalanche 15/16B 4-0. Saturday afternoon the Yellow team played 90+ Project B15/16 Grewe with a win of 3-2 at the Plante’s Ferry Sports Complex in Spokane Valley. Goals were scored by Jackson Martin (2) and Elijah Cline (1) with an assist by Ezekial Garcia. Sunday the Black team traveled to Lewiston to play at the Smith Soccer Fields and lost to the Hells Canyon FC Rapids B15/16 4-1 with a goal scored by Jaxson Matheney.
