STATE 5A SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT: Lakeland's luck runs out

“It’s what I’m most proud of,” Lakeland coach Dwayne Curry said. “From the start of the season to the end of the season, I never once thought they were out of it, or done. I’d never had to ask them if they believed, because they did every time. Coming off the field, they had a belief that they were going to find a way to win. The never quit attitude is something that I’m most proud of this year.”
