Courtesy photo In their league opener this past weekend, the Sting SC 16 Girls Black soccer team defeated the Spokane Shadow Academy Evans 7-2. After an early own goal, the Sting responded quickly and went into halftime level at 1–1. The second half was all Sting, as they poured in six goals. From left for the Sting are Winnie Clarensau, Rya Verlanic and Brystol Hayes.
