Kootenai sheriff cleared following investigation of town hall when woman was removed
The Idaho Attorney General’s Office will not pursue criminal charges against Kootenai County Sheriff Robert Norris following an investigation into complaints that he committed battery during a town hall event earlier this year, according to a letter from the Office of the Attorney General dated November 3.

Teresa Borrenpohl, the Idaho woman dragged out of a town hall meeting in February, filed a notice of tort claim today with the Kootenai County Clerk asserting county officials and those who acted with them violated her constitutional rights at a February meeting, according to a press release.
