Courtesy photo Samantha Taub, 15, of Coeur d'Alene was named the youth official of the year for the Inland Empire Hockey Officials Association. Samantha referees in Coeur d'Alene and Spokane and did more than games this season. Samantha, a ninth grader who attends Coeur d'Alene Virtual Academy online, was also invited to a referee development camp in Dallas, Texas, later this month.
