The Wilma Theatre, originally the named the Huff Theater, was built in 1936 on the corner of Second Street and Sherman Avenue. It closed in 1983 and was demolished in 1997 after the roof collapsed. Chris Whalen, a Coeur d'Alene local, is creating an app, Historik, which gives users the ability to experience a recreation of old buildings including the theater through augmented reality. Entrepreneur creates app featuring augmented reality

Imagine seeing the past in 3D. That’s what Coeur d’Alene entrepreneur Chris Whalen is creating in his app, Historik, which brings history to life through the screen of a cell phone.
