Joe Hodl was 64 when he died of COVID-19 on Aug. 17. His wife of 38 years, Cheri, and his physician and longtime friend, Dr. Geoff Emry, are organizing the Smile-4Joe mask giveaway Dec. 12 to help prevent the spread of COVID while spreading the joy for which Joe was so well known.
