Carter Gordon of Lake City High is missing his senior season of track. He’s been running varsity since his freshman year. “He was looking forward to setting more personal records, hopefully breaking a school record, hopefully being runner of the year again for his team and running at the state meet again,” said his mother, Laura Goodwin-Gordon. Carter is also actively involved at school, being part of ASB. “This has been very heartbreaking in our household as he was so excited to run his senior year,” his mom said.
