Courtesy photo The Thorns North FC ’07 girls soccer team finished second in the gold division at the Three Blind Refs Tournament this past weekend in Kalispell, Mont. The Thorns beat the Calgary Rangers FC 4-2 in the tournament opener, then went on to beat Thunder Tempest Saturday afternoon 6-1. Sunday the Thorns beat Flathead Rapids Black 4-1. With this win the Thorns advanced to the finals against Missoula Strikers, where they came up short with the Strikers scoring in the final minutes of the game to lose 4-3. Goals during the tournament were scored by Lily Bole (1), Hailey Coylar (3), Rachel Corette (4), Juliette Gilmore (1), Kennedy Hartzell (2), and Natalie Thompson (6).
