New trail sparks early childhood education

COEUR d’ALENE — United Way of North Idaho, the Idaho Panhandle Kiwanis Club, the Key Club at Coeur d’Alene High School, and the city of Coeur d’Alene Parks and Recreation Department are bringing the Born Learning Trail experience to Shadduck Lane Park. The trail is “a series of 10 signs along a paved path that helps parents, grandparents, and caregivers turn excursions into fun learning moments,” said United Way of North Idaho Director of Community Impact Keri Stark.
