Author Suzanne Bamonte explores around the mouth of Paragon Gulch, east of Murray, where several lead and zinc mines were once located. Bamonte and her husband, Tony, spent more than 15 years scouring the Coeur d'Alene Mining District for information and photos to complete their book, "The Coeur d'Alenes Gold Rush and Its Lasting Legacy," which was released in late April.
