LISA JAMES/ PressSorensen Elementary School artist-in-residence Bria Zan Thompson gets a hug from a kindergartner after being presented with their class lei during Aloha Day on Friday. As part of the program, students performed different types of Hula, incorporating the lessons in history, culture, legend, language and the natural environment of Hawaii that Thompson shared with them in their lessons.
