LISA JAMES/ PressSorensen Elementary School students cheer for artist-in-residence Bria Zan Thompson during Aloha Day on Friday. As part of the program, students performed different types of Hula, incorporating the lessons in history, culture, legend, language and the natural environment of Hawaii that Thompson shared with them in their lessons.
