<p>The seed library in the Coeur d’Alene Public Library has many new improvements. The new True to Seed library opened March 14 with over 45 different varieties of seeds and resources and instructions on how to plant and cultivate seeds. The old seed library only had about 20 packets of seeds for people to take. The new one has about 1,000 packets and encourages community members to share.</p>

COEUR d’ALENE — When Max Palmer was at the library Wednesday afternoon with his mom, he found a treasure chest full of goodies. There were 45 drawers full of seed-packets waiting to be taken home. The 4-year-old was mostly interested in the broccoli and some herbs.
