<p>TESS FREEMAN/Press</p><p>Dave Sheldon of the Kootenai County Veterans Honor Guard raises the American flag in honor of Nick Newby and Nate Beyers who were killed in action on July 7, 2011. The flag will fly the month of July at the R.D. Rankin Veterans Memorial Plazaand before it is on display in the Hall of Heroes inside the Kootenai County Courthouse.</p>
