<p>North American Pitcher plants are seen growing at the edge of a bog at the New York Botanical Garden, Oct. 28, 2009, in the Bronx borough of New York. These plants are carnivorous, feeding on ants, flies and other insects common around wetlands. They are popular around bog gardens, especially with children.</p>
