JEROME A. POLLOS/Press Bette Ammon, director of Coeur d'Alene Public Library, shows off a copy of the book "Spike ... One Dragon's Tale" she received Friday from artist-in-residence and Sorensen mom Sharalee Howard that was written, illustrated and bound by students at Sorensen Magnet School for the Arts and Humanities. From the sales of the book, students were able donate $3,000 that will be used to provide safe, clean drinking water for about 400 people living in an Ethiopian village where the only available water is from an untreated river, about a six-hour walk away.
