<p>SHAWN GUST Bryan Riddle helps tug on a rope as his family group makes their way up a trail at the Nature's Conservancy's Cougar Bay Preserve Monday during a field trip where Borah Elementary fourth-graders participate in a reenactment of the Oregon Trail as part of their curriculum. Students spent much of the day making decisions that would affect the outcome of the trip as a way to learn about the trials of the period.</p>
