OPINION: Just like everyone else, Idaho’s Attorney General must comply with the law
Three years ago, I joined five other former Idaho Attorneys General in describing that important position as “the …
COURT: Rainbow before the storm
On June 26 the Supreme Court ruled that gays had the right to marry. That night the White House was lit up in the gay pride rainbow colors, celebrating that Supreme Court decision.
COURT: With whom do you side?
Christians, it is very obvious our government is not righteous. The “law” makers in Washington are not righteous or “good,” nor do they attempt to be. They no longer hide their disdain for God nor how ignorant they…
ROADS: Neglect is shameful
We took friends on what is usually a fun trip in the mountains to pick huckleberries. Instead it was the worst mountain driving trip I have ever experienced in 70 years.
COURT: Claim state exemption
I have a simple question regarding the illegal immigrant that shot and killed a woman in San Francisco. Five times he had been deported because of his illegal status, plus having been found guilty seven times of a …
HATE: The answer is forgiveness

FLAG: Greensferry display inspiring
It’s refreshing to see the American flag flying on the Greensferry Overpass project. Driving north toward the Post Office on Greensferry Road, it’s spectacular with Rathdrum Mountain in the background.
COURT: Didn't listen to God
Every movement to excuse a moral wrong becomes a movement to condone it, every movement to condone a moral wrong becomes a movement to extend it. In struggling against everyday sickness, sorrow and crime we struggl…
DEMS: Wrong party for racism
The ridiculous Fink letter blaming Democrats for the ails of Confederate flag-waving racism begs the question: if Democrats are racists, then why do 19 out of 20 blacks vote Democratic? Or 3 out of 4 Latinos or Asi…
LETTERS: Not everybody agrees
I would like to respond to four letters in The Press on July 1 from Keith, George, Ron and Bob.
IRONMAN: Cheer the fans, volunteers
As an out-of-town participant in Ironman, I would like to express my gratitude to the city of Coeur d’Alene for your gracious hospitality, unreserved enthusiasm and unparalleled support. Your volunteers and residen…
