Three years ago, I joined five other former Idaho Attorneys General in describing that important position as “the …
FIREWORKS: Small tax, big result
I was fairly amused at Mike Patrick’s most recent editorial titled, ironically, entitlement. Mr. Patrick railed against those who had not donated to pay for the fireworks saying that they seemed to think they were …
HEALTH: Workers and angels
This is a letter of appreciation for home health care providers. I am a disabled veteran, and the V.A. provides me with a home health care worker. On Tuesday and Thursday, she helps me bathe, does small house work,…

There is an individual who writes several letters a year attacking retired police and firefighters who have chosen to spend the rest of their lives in the great Northwest. I will refer to this winner henceforth as …

MILLENNIALS: A great generation
Millennials are often unfairly described as being the generation of self-entitled, narcissistic, basement dwelling, video gaming college students who still live with their parents.
BLM: Outlaw this group
Congress should end the Black Lives Matter movement. They should be deemed a violent racist militant group for their threats to kill white police officers and threats to create a coup if Trump is elected president.…
