OPINION: Just like everyone else, Idaho’s Attorney General must comply with the law
Three years ago, I joined five other former Idaho Attorneys General in describing that important position as “the …
CRIME: Throw the book
I am in total agreement with Ron Dayton of Athol. These two dirtbags should have been executed years ago.
CONSTITUTION: A few thoughts
Constitutional Commemorative Day was Sept. 17. I have given much thought to the intent of our Founding Fathers who drafted the Constitution. Next to the divinely inspired Word of God in which we find time-tested ab…
CLIMATE: Walk the talk
“We can walk and chew gum at the same time.” It’s a phrase I’ve heard numerous times from President Trump’s press representative in a variety of contexts.
CAROUSEL: What's ahead
We’d like to thank the members of our community who wrote letters to the editor regarding our historic Playland Pier Carousel. In only four months of operation, we’re excited that 17,000 people have been able to ri…

LETTERS: Who needs comics?
It’s so much fun when “The Liningers” get a letter published that I have a cost saving suggestion. Just have the “Liningers” and Jim Hollingsworth publish a letter every editorial page and cancel the funny pages. I…
