Cd'A school trustees to field levy questions Saturday

The Coeur d'Alene School District is offering an opportunity for people to hear from trustees on the proposed levy of $30.25 million per year for two years.

This levy would replace the current levy of $25 million and would be in effect from July 1, 2027, and end June 30, 2029.

Trustees will be at Ramsey Park, McEuen Park, and McIntire Park from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday to answer questions about the levy, including how the funds would be used, why they are needed, and what it will cost taxpayers. 

There will also be a forum on the levy from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Lake City High School auditorium.

The proposed replacement levy will appear on the Nov. 3 ballot.
