"Gil" Floyd Gilbert Beebe Jr.

It is with deep sadness that we share that Gil Beebe passed away Sept. 7, 2026, after a short illness, with his family surrounding him with love and care.

Born on March 9, 1952, to Floyd Sr. and Alma Beebe, Gil was raised in San Jose, Calif., and moved to North Idaho in 1975.

In 1987, he married Jodi Zent, and together they raised three beautiful children, Steven, Luther, and Talitha. In 1998, the family moved to Florida, where Gil lived the rest of his life.

A man of faith, Gil found comfort in his relationship with Jesus. His family is also comforted knowing that he is now resting in the arms of Jesus.

In 2022, Gil was blessed with his granddaughter, Leena, whom he cherished with his whole heart. She brought a special joy and love into his life.

Gil is lovingly remembered by his children, Steven, Luther, and Talitha and her husband Chris; former wife Jodi and her husband Jim; granddaughter Leena; sister Tammy Freer; and the many family members and friends whose lives he touched. He was cared for by his devoted family with love, compassion, and kindness to the end.
