Melun, a senior defending midfielder, has three goals and three assists this season for the Vikings. “He has been integral toward connecting possession from defensive to offensive when we have the ball and then is vital in shielding our backline from attacks,” said Coeur d’Alene coach Robbie Harmelink, whose teams moved into the No. 1 spot in the state 6A MaxPreps.com rankings. “He is probably one of the best center defensive midfielders in the state.”
