Coeur d’Alene Rotary roasts Steve Roberge
The Coeur d’Alene Rotary honored one of its own Sunday at Avista Pavilion at McEuen Park, when nearly 75 people gathered to roast its new District Governor, Steve Roberge. He's the first District Governor to come from the Coeur d’Alene club since the 1930s.
As District Governor, Roberge oversees about 50 Rotary clubs in northwestern Montana, north Idaho, northeastern Washington and southern British Columbia.
Club President Ann Thomas opened the festivities and later presented Roberge with a $1,000 check to donate to his favorite charity, Polio Plus.
