CANDIDATES: Independents worth investigating

I don’t consider myself terribly political, but a few days ago, when paging through the Press towards the Funnies page, I saw notice of a candidate forum for independent candidates running for office: U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Senate, and Idaho governor.

After reading in the media about the three major political groups in North Idaho (two flavors of Republicans and one of Democrats), who to me seem to always be criticizing the other two groups rather than seeking solutions to our problems, I thought this independent candidate forum might be worth attending. Boy, was I right!

The candidates are: Sarah Zabel for U.S. House, Todd Achilles for U.S. Senate and John Stegner for Idaho governor.

I suggest you check these folks out. They seem to have real ideas about how to solve our problems such as the Iran War, Social Security, public education, immigration, national debt, Idaho public lands and several others.

Although they all must have campaign websites, I don’t know what they are. I’d bet a name search will get you connected.
