Hospice of North Idaho earns 5-Star Hospice Rating

COEUR d’ALENE — Hospice of North Idaho has earned the CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) 5-Star Hospice Rating, based on feedback from patients' families and caregivers.

The recognition reflects HONI’s continued commitment to providing high-quality end-of-life care, a press release said.

“This achievement is a direct reflection of the extraordinary compassion, dedication, and excellence demonstrated every day by our entire hospice team," said Maggie McComb, director of compliance. 

She said staff work tirelessly to provide exceptional care and support to patients and families throughout the community.

"This recognition validates the high standards we strive to deliver. Earning a 5-Star rating places Hospice of North Idaho among the top-performing hospices in the nation and further reinforces our reputation as a trusted leader in end-of-life care," McComb said. "We are incredibly proud of this milestone and grateful for our staff, volunteers, leadership, and board members who help make our mission possible.”
