Raise a glass: Whiskey Barrel Weekend returns to Resort
COEUR d’ALENE — The Coeur d’Alene Resort welcomes the return of Whiskey Barrel Weekend, Sept. 18-20, a three-day celebration bringing together premium whiskey, chef-driven cuisine, live entertainment and lakeside experiences.
The weekend kicks off Friday with Fuego & Oak, a live-fire culinary experience featuring Latin-inspired chef stations, premium whiskey tastings and live entertainment.
This year, guests will also get an exciting first taste of what’s ahead at Azul, The Resort’s newest dining experience. Executive Chef Brian Enyart will be on-site Friday to showcase new Azul flavors and give guests a preview of his culinary vision for the restaurant, opening in May 2027 in the new Sherman Tower.
Enyart brings nearly three decades of culinary leadership to The Coeur d’Alene Resort, including 14 years working with celebrated chef Rick Bayless at Frontera Grill and Topolobampo, helping earn a James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurant and a Michelin Star.
He also served as corporate chef for Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises and co-founded Chicago’s Dos Urban Cantina, which earned Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition every year it was open.
Whiskey Barrel Weekend continues Saturday with expert-led Whiskey Masterclasses and the signature Grand Whiskey Tasting, where guests can explore more than 50 premium whiskeys alongside light bites.
The weekend concludes Sunday with The Final Pour Brunch, featuring a chef-curated brunch buffet, mimosas and music.
Guests can choose individual event tickets or make a weekend of it with All-Access Passes and overnight packages.
