Viola Hoye, 91

Oct. 6, 2026, an angel, Viola June Hoye (91) of Post Falls, was welcomed into heaven. She passed peacefully at the Schneidmiller Hospice House, surrounded by her loved ones. 

She was born June 26, 1935, in Great Falls, Mont., to German Immigrants, Arthur and Charlotte Seidler. She spent her early life working on the family homestead with her 4 siblings in Brady, Mont. She carried the lessons of hard and honest work with her in every avenue of her life.

She married Ronald R. Hoye on Oct. 23, 1951. From loving wife and mother to office manager and colon therapy and vitamin specialist at Ronald’s Naturopathic Clinic, she passionately helped so many lives. Full of life, vibrancy, and laughter, she still loved travel adventures and dancing the Jitterbug with Ron well into her 80s.

More than just a mother, she was also a compassionate friend and companion; she will be extremely missed. She is survived by her children, Catherine Morales-Lash, Ronald Hoye Jr., Steven (Terri) Hoye, Clifford (Irene) Hoye, and Gloria (Charles) Alcock and her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Hoye; grandchildren: Mike, James, Paul, Brandy, Larry, Travis, Nicole, Jennifer, Leanne, Chad, Josh, Dillon, Clifford Jr., Renae, Katie, Stephanie, Elizabeth and Jerrad; countless great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald (Doc), son Lawrence, and daughter Laura.
